"IS IT O.K. TO INVITE PEOPLE TO REVIVAL?"

REVIVAL ALTAR SERVICE
She approached a staff member of her church before our Sunday evening Revival service with this question; "I hope that I haven't done something wrong.  Is it OK that I went out this afternoon with my children and knocked on doors to invite people to our Revival?"

The somewhat stunned staff member replied; "No, that's not a problem....that's a good thing."  Inwardly thinking; "Might more people follow your lead."

Zion Community Church of the Nazarene - Bloomington, Indiana
This young, single parent, mother of two is not all that different from many who call the Zion Community Church of the Nazarene in Bloomington, Indiana home.  Pastor Andy Hughes has the exciting and challenging task of discipling a sizable group of new Christ-followers.  They have come to faith through various ministries; including the Upward Sports Ministry.

Pastor and church leadership made a conscious decision several years ago to focus on children and young families.  They doubled down on their Pre-School/ Daycare ministry and began to use their nearly 30 acres of   land to host community events and sports activities.  The results have been remarkable!  God is using this church to reach the lost.

According to Pastor Hughes, about half of those attending our services had no idea what a "Revival" was let alone had attended one.  The church stepped out on faith in inviting FTFM to come and God honored that step.  Services were well attended (growing each night), times of prayer around the altar were blessed, and the free-will revival offerings were beyond generous.

Oh, that more might be like that young, single mom and begin telling others that there is hope and that hope has a name and that name is JESUS.

P
This church is alive, well, and REVIVED!  There is a God thing goin' on.  PTL.
