A Time For Thanksgiving and reunion at Plymouth (MI) Nazarene

November 19 and 20, 2010 marked the first of what I trust will be many ministry events for FREE TO FLY MINISTRIES.

It began with a great Harvest Dinner for the Adults of the Plymouth Church of the Nazarene and concluded with a moving Sunday evening service.

For me it was a time of affirmation as I preached for the first time in nearly two months. It was also a time of renewing friendships from the past.

Pastor Fred and Linda Hall have been my friends for more years than we'd like to admit. We go all the way back to Church youth camps. Fred and I were room mates at Olivet Nazarene University in the '60s. They have pastored this exciting church for the past 13 years and have led it to great days. I trust that you have long time friends that you have shared your lives and that you continue to make memories today.
It was also an opportunity to see folks I pastored 35 years ago at the Westland First Church of the Nazarene in Westland, Michigan. They included those who were saved and sanctified under my ministry there and those who I married so long ago.
I pray all the events that I am privileged to hold in the years to come will be as rewarding and blessed as this very first "lift off" weekend. (Now if I just had somewhere to go next....but that's where trust in Him comes in.
